The people
behind the practice.
Three clinicians, one shared belief: that people heal in relationship, not in isolation.
Sujin Jeon, LCSW
Founder & clinical supervisor · Larchmont Village
Sujin founded Kinnection Group on a simple belief: that people recover in relationship, not in isolation. Twelve years of clinical work across community mental health and private practice shaped that conviction.
As a Korean-American clinician, Sujin brings lived understanding of what it means to grow up between cultures, to carry a family’s unspoken history, and to build a life in spaces that were not designed with that history in mind.
Approach
Sujin is EMDR trained and works from a relational, trauma-informed foundation, often bringing humor, play, movement, imagination, and storytelling into the work. Much of it centers on reducing shame and helping clients come to know themselves more fully. Her work is also community-oriented, shaped by an awareness of how racism, classism, misogyny, homophobia, and other forms of oppression shape how we understand ourselves and the world. As Kinnection’s founder and clinical supervisor, she also oversees the practice’s associate clinicians.
Who Sujin works with
- Adults with complex, developmental, or intergenerational trauma
- BIPOC clients navigating racial trauma, family expectations, and identity
- Immigrants and first-generation clients working through inherited patterns
- Parents and couples repairing attachment and trust

Nan Wang, AMFT/APCC
Clinician · Pasadena
Things don’t have to be falling apart for someone to know that something isn’t working. Many of Nan’s clients arrive feeling anxious, disconnected, stuck in familiar patterns, or simply not quite like themselves. Therapy with her is a place to make sense of what’s happening and find a way forward that feels genuinely their own.
Before clinical work, Nan spent years in strategy consulting across technology, government, consumer, and education sectors. That background shapes the work: a familiarity with demanding environments and the toll they take on mental and physical health.
Approach
Nan is EMDR trained and practices from an integrative, trauma-informed framework, drawing on parts-based approaches, somatic and nervous-system regulation, CBT, DBT, and solution-oriented methods paced to each client’s history and capacity. A particular focus is working with high-performing individuals: capable, accomplished people who are used to handling a lot but feel stretched thin underneath it all, whether that’s balancing family and career, adjusting to a new culture, or carrying quiet worry for someone they love.
Who Nan works with
- Adults with complex or childhood trauma, high-functioning anxiety, perfectionism, or burnout
- Children ages 5+ and teens, with parents as partners in the work
- First-generation and immigrant clients, including Mandarin-speaking families
- BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ clients seeking affirming, culturally responsive care

Natalie Hung, ACSW
Clinician · Pasadena
Natalie is a Taiwanese-American clinician supporting BIPOC and immigrant communities navigating trauma, grief, and loss. She began her career in a pediatric hospital setting, supporting children and families through crisis, trauma, and end-of-life care. That work included children grieving a parent or sibling, parents grieving a child or spouse, and women who have experienced intimate partner violence and abuse.
She brings a warm, grounded presence, creating space for clients to slow down, make sense of their experiences, and reconnect with themselves, while honoring how culture, identity, and lived experience shape us.
Approach
Her approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and flexible, integrating somatic and nervous-system regulation, CBT, and DBT based on each client’s needs. Natalie is an Associate Clinical Social Worker practicing under the supervision of Sujin Jeon, LCSW.
