Terms of Service
Effective April 15, 2025Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using kinnection.co or engaging our therapy services. By accessing our website or scheduling an appointment, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Services Provided
Kinnection Group provides outpatient mental health services including individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and EMDR-informed trauma treatment. Services are provided by licensed therapists and supervised associates in the state of California.
2. Not a Crisis Service
Kinnection is not a crisis service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact:

- Emergency services: 911
- Your nearest emergency room
3. Client Responsibilities
By engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during intake and throughout treatment
- Attend scheduled appointments or provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations
- Pay fees at the time of service or as otherwise arranged
- Use our website and communications in a respectful and lawful manner
4. Cancellation Policy
We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a late cancellation fee. Insurance does not cover late cancellation fees.
5. Fees and Payment
Session fees are disclosed during the intake process. Payment is due at the time of service. We accept major insurance plans and offer sliding scale fees based on financial need. We are happy to verify your benefits prior to your first session.
6. Telehealth
Telehealth services are provided via secure, HIPAA-compliant video platforms. By participating in telehealth, you confirm that you are physically located in California at the time of your session.
7. Limitation of Liability
Kinnection Group and its clinicians are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services in the three months preceding any claim.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on kinnection.co — including text, images, and design — is the property of Kinnection Group and may not be reproduced without written permission.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in Los Angeles County, California.
